What to wear???

The age old question - what will I wear? Now with a child, it's what will he wear? We went to an alumni event at a football game and of course, we had to have a football outfit to match the day.

Sewing is Spiritual

Lately I have been praying and trying to find a new balance as a stay at home mom. My life has changed dramatically in this past year! I went from working, to staying at home, moved to a new city and having a baby. As I try to adjust to me new life and how to be used by God in this new calling, the Lord has revealed to me some things through sewing. I love to sew because it is a stress release for me, but as I have been making my little man's clothes I thought about the Proverbs 31 women. She worked willingly with her hands, she made coverings for herself and for her family. She is an encouragement to me as I try to find my duties as a new mom. When I feel tired from staying up throughout the night with a crying baby, I ask the LORD for strength and He willing gives it. When I debated if I should try to work from home, I looked at Proverbs 31 and saw that the example of a Godly women that she worked from home. I wake up in the morning and pray over Proverbs 31 for wisdom on how to use my days. "Make the most of your time, because the days are evil." Eph 5:16
